This will be my future school.......To Lead, To Excel, To Overcome
Officer Cadet School - SAFTIMI
Yes, i'm aiming for OCS. BUT there is one major problem, my NAPFA standard hasn't reached the required standards to enter OCS. In order to enter OCS, i must obtain at least a Silver grade, but right now, i'm still lingering around a bronze grade. Thats why, i've been trainning very hard to achieve my goal.
Its no longer whether i want it, it is a MUST. I cannot let my parents and my brother down. I must make it to OCS. Its not a matter of pride, but a matter of heritage for my family. Both my brother and father were from OCS, hence i have to carry on this tradition, i cannot break it.
It isn't going to be easy, but i believe that i can make it. I did it once, i will do it again. I think i'm getting off to a good start, i just ran for 30 mins almost without stopping, just to train my stamina, after that i did 100 sit ups. Nothing much lah, but its a good starting point. Never felt so good in my life before. I was drenched and soaked in my own perspiration, but i felt that it was worth it. Whenever i felt fatigued, the OCS Crest pops into my head and suddenly i find myself able to run again albeit with Mr. Lim's sublimal
Endure! Endure! ringing in my head.
I've decided to train up myself physically, i will prove all the people that doubt me wrong. I will be fitter than them, stronger than them, Better than them!

OCS Song
We come from many places,
All across the land,
Of many different races
Together hand in hand.
United we stand
Divided we fall;
Ready to serve our nation's call
Chorus:
We come from OCS,
We are the very best
Leading with dignity and pride
Wherever we go
We will always know
Our spirit lives forever more,
Loyalty to country,
That's what we all believe;
To Lead, Excel and Overcome,
Is what we must achieve.
Forever strong and valiant,
We'll give our lives and more;
Never ceasing to serve Singapore

Fever today, the flu revisted?
Dang, today had fever when i woke up. Just went to see the doctors and he said that i'm too heaty and that i need to drink more water. Luckily i had this after my trip if not garrgh, will not have enjoyed myself there. Come to think of it, it may have been my trip that caused me my illness. Erm, i have to admit that well, during the trip, i did practise some unhygenic and potentially dangerous eating habits like boiling my milo from a used tin can and drinking from it. I don't know if there were actually any rust, but it sure tasted good.
Today is the first of day Facil trainning and already, i'm not present. How
interesting but if my fever subsides later, i think i will go down.
Jerangkang was excellent....a great stress reliever.
Jerangkang, Jerangkang, what can i say, an absolutely beautiful place to be at. Serene, tranquil, splashing with purity (literally). My ideal place or definition of "Paradise". For the first time in my life, for 2 days i had absolutely no care or worries, i was just being myself, no council pressure, no school pressure, iw as literally living the way i liked to live - carefree with not a single care in the world to bother me.
The company was great too, through this trip i got to know a few people better that were once ailiens to me. People like
Leonard, Krishnan, David, Justin, Daryl, Helena and of course many many others. On the last day, i did something which i've always wanted to do since young - dive off a rock into a pool of water below, something which i did and enjoyed through and through. There was this rock, about a storey and a half high above the deeper end of one of the pools at Jerangakng, on the second day when we came back from our trek, we saw a few malay kids leaping off it and soon, our interests were secured - mine was. Well, and so we did get to jump off it. I dived in head first 3 times, that sensation of freedom just liberates you from all sorts of worry and stress.
Nice clouds i took along the way up the mountains. These are the kind of clouds that i simply adore. Absolutely magnificent.
A picture taken on the morning that we arrived along the Maran highway before we had our first breakfast. It was cold that morning, i'ld reckon around 17 degrees Celcius. This place marked the beginning for our trip up the Jerangkang Mountains.
A smaller waterfall taken with my camera phone that was just adjacent to our camping ground
I know it looks kinda miniscule, but in actual fact it is quite huge. The water there was clean, crystal clear and of course
COLD, VERY COLD but nontheless enjoyable.
Here is another picture i took :
A view of the clouds as we were ascending the Jerangkang mountains. I know it looks grainy because it was taken under low resolution, hence when i transfered it over, it turnedout like this. =P
I had a great time there, garrgh, i feeling hot now, i'm need to go rest, then see how, maybe i'll drop by CJ. I feel guilty not being able to go.
Oh yah, i forgot to mention, i'll be joining the Toa Payoh Adventure Club, something like the ODAC, but at a community based level. I think it is worthwhile to engage in such outdoor activities, really makes one enjoy life to the fullest and appreciate the wonders of nature.
Love ya all. =)

Everyone has been blogging.....but not me
I don't know why, but i do not feel like blogging anymore, perhaps, just perhaps, this blog will just be another of the 1 million +++ websites out there that have faded to obscurity. No Point talking about my life here, because why?
It stinks Honestly it does.
My CTs sucked big time
Feel damn disgusted with myself, why didn't i concentrate harder? Why did i only manage to secure weak, infact VERY weak As? Damn it, i know i could have easily gotten at least 85 for chem, but what the heck, stupid absolutely crappy careless mistakes caused me my last perhaps only chance at appealing for a Chem S from Mr. Ong. I thought that with my reasonably good Chem results i may secure myself a chem S paper, but
>NO........ t had to turn out like that, freak lah, i'm in no mood to talk about my shitty CT results. What the hell man, should i feel happy or sad? I don't know, i don't bother.
Tomorrow going Jerangkang, hope i will not arrive back to Singapore in a zippered body bag.
Somehow i wish to be in one, don't know why, life seems pointless living already...lol....pessimism at work? maybe not, just a choice spinning out of control
As usual, rumors have been circulating around the J2s about my alledged involvement with LHM, but let me make this very very clear that...
There is nothing going on between me and her, we're just very good friends thats all, so all those with itchy mouths, go get a mouth scratcher and scratch that filty mouth of yours, don't go spreading untrue and potentially harmful rumors about me or her when you know absolutely nothing and base all false perceptions on hearsay only. heck when nothing, Absolutely NOTHING is going on.
I knew my Bio results today and by far in my entire life of Biology, i have never ever gotten such crappy results before, now my pride in Bio is being jeopardised. I hate this feeling, why is it that i always do well for class tests, either topping it or getting second best, but whenever it comes to the exams, i always do badly. KNNBCCB. Feel very crapped up because of it. I pride myself in my bio, but how am i to continue priding myself in it when my results do not show for it??????
Disgusting, just disgusting
Anyways, i wanna give shout outs to a few friends of mine!
Aishah : My sista in CJ, thanks for showing so much concern for me and spotting that i wasn't my usual self. Although i may say that i'm fine, i'm actually plagued by alot of problems. Congrats on your CT results, i must say i take my hat off to you. =)
Philene aka Flea- my SC Vice-Presi : I found out that i can actually talk with you quite fine. As in, we can communicate lah Sorry about last year, was kinda uptight about everything, but i've decided to loosen the reins a little, so expect a more open and less uptight Alan. Lol. Do take care of that knee and back of yours, don't want to see you getting injured. Study hard for your As k? Don;t give up, you have a strong character that will definitely pull you through eveyrthing. And sometimes i do see you getting a little upset, if there is anything, you can sound it out to me. =)
LHM : Heyz, thanks for making me laugh with your lameness and crappy jokes. Do take care always. =) Drink more Soya Milk, don;'t always eat chilli because it is acidic and might aggravate your stomach.
Ping Cheun : I know this year is going to be tough, but i really don't like hearing you say that you've given up. I do not want you to give up so easily. You're damn smart one, but just lacking the confidence. You can do it! You were the frist person i sat with (apart from CS) and probably the first person i actually spoke to in t33 last year. You'll always remain a special friend to me not only because you've never failed to make me laugh with your funny potshots at everything that is happening but also touching my heart with your concern. Thanks pal. Take care k?
Yingkie : You ah, always make me lose concentration during lesson, thanks for always making me laugh too, helps me to relax. Although i only got to know you better this year only after sitting with you, i guess we can click quite well. It has been an absolute pleasure knowing you.
Desmond WCK : What can i say man, always there to challenge me and push my limits higher in both academic and physical sense, but Des, these competiotns, really do not matter to me at all. What i guess is the most important is that we're good friends and hope that we can go OCS and Chiong together. Take care
All my dear SC members : As i said during Mr. Tan's Gm, we're already running the final lap, very soon, the 29th COuncil will cease to exist on paper, but in my heart, i know that i've served in a band of unique individuals who have remained tirelessly commited to the name of the 29th CJCSC. As we'll soon be bowing out graciously and bringing in fresh blood, may i hope that we'll never forget the special blood that flows in all of us, that of the 29th CJC Student Council. We will conquer all obstacles together as one united front. Lets do it Councillors! Semper Paratus Sine Mora!
My dearest class 1T33'03 / 2T33'04 : Dearest classmates, we're all in this together, as we thread slowly towards the gates of the dreaded As, we must remain focused and united. I'm damn happy to see that we've bonded much stronger this year as compared to last year. I'm beginning to love this class even more now and i hope i will not cry when the day for us to finally part arrives. I will miss Chi Sheng's shrills, Lai Quinn's whines, Hong Yi's blurness, Hui Shan's scores, Ann's swoon over some guy and of course Mrs. J Lok's
motherly lectures. Love you all.
I love you all. I love nature, i love Rugby, but most importantly, i still love you....
