Well, its been a while hasn't it? I blog like the monsoon season...when i blog, i blog relentlessly, and when i halt, i won't blog again till a few weeks or months later, after which i will blog relentlessly again. =)
So is this time around a "monsoon" season or otherwise? Hahah
Anyway, being in my new profession as a financial consultant is rather interesting, the agency i'm in has really given me a paradigm shift in the way i think and the way i operate my life. Although i am still far away from my goals, i know i'm at least going in the right direction.
Attending achiever's night on friday was really an eye-opener for me and a chance for me to evaluate why i want to be in this business or profession so very much. Is it for myself? for the person that was sitting beside me the whole night or is it for a higher cause?
I believe it is for all above, i guess as a son, as a boyfriend and as a colleague, i have certain responsibilities i need and have to bear, certain tasks i must accomplish and certain missions in life i must fulfill.
Perhaps as an undergrad, i am disabled in a few aspects, but then why so does great philosophers and teachers like Earl Nightingale who says that "You are what you think of about the most" and why does the Secret often refer to the law of attraction as fundamentally that we will get, regardless of what we think about, if we continually hold on to the thought with a singlesness of purpose, a singleness of desire and a singlesness of thought.
This is how the way the universe works.
I watched an interesting documentary the other day about how the mind works and how it affects and interacts with the environment in which we operate. That living humans, in very essence, are living, walking, breathing objects that interact and responds to the universe and the magnetic and electrical waves and pulses that permeates through. In very essence, it actually points to the fundamentals of The Law of Attraction.
It is profound and may seem weird or far off to some, but as Bill Procter says "We should not reject it, just because we fail to understand it".
I woke up today having a thought and a single objective that occupied my mind. In it, i was so convinced and so determined that i will one day set up my own agency and, like a light-bulb flashing in my mind, i thought of so many ways to kick start my dreams. What name i will call it, what colour themes it will be and what kind of environment i wanted it to be. I saw in it, the people i wanted to work together with, the faces of my associates and the expressions on their faces when my agency sweeps all the awards away in 5-7 years time.
Maybe this is the law of attraction working? That i am actually atrracting into the thoughts and my innermost desires in my life?
A small incident today made me reflect on how i should conduct myself now, had a good talk with dear and she made me realise that certains things i say or do now is under the scrutiny of my potential clients and current ones too, so i must be prudent and be tactful so as not to step on anybody's toes. Thank you dear, its always good to have an extra pair of eyes to critique and let me know where i went wrong, better than having to crash into the wall without even knowing its there. =)
This whole month, many things have happened to change my perspective on life and reaffirm the goals i set for myself. Perhaps, its time to let go of the old me and begin to embrace a tougher Alan mentally.
FEAR
Many a times i feel fear in doing the thing i have passion about, but fear....fear is psycological, fear is intangible and fear is self-made, but if the power is within me and therefore, under my control, i should and definitely have the power to suppress this fear and change it into courage, courage to overcome fear, courage to head forth into territories many before me have said will leave me sad and unsatisfied. Territory many have said will make me fail and that i will evetually, like what Brian Tracy said "Die in the desert".
I know, and i believe, that with the support from my dear, my parents, my agency and my mentor, i will, with a singleness of purpose, singleness of thought and singleness of desire and purpose, achieve what i set myself to achieve.

I mean it, there is this special person in my life that has been through with me many ups and downs....and right now though i feel that i'm in the lowest point since i started school, she has been there to pull me up and make me smile =) Thank you =)
*
On a sidenote, tonight is the seminar night with Mr. Adam Khoo. I'll be making a short speech and sharing my experiences......I hope everything turns out alright =)
What can i say, yesterday's match has to be one of the most nail-bitting, hair-raising and seat breaking matches i've watched till date. Fortunately, i had the company of a football loving Ms. S to join me in the celebrations and thrill of watching a match live and in person at the stadium. =) To all those who went, you would have agreed with me rather unanimously that the match was definitely memorable and exciting as hell!
*
Prior to the match, my dad had problems sending Ms. S and myself to the stadium due to the overwhelming, sell-out crowd at the National Stadium. All dressed in red, there were streams after streams of people making a beeline from Kallang MRT to the Stadium. Cars were not spared either, hapless cars, trapped in the ensuing horde of traffic had problems manuevering through the tight gaps and some resorted to weaving in and out of traffic so as to be able to scrape through cars - just barely.
It was a classic scene from any Big Match. Sell out crowds, electric atmosphere and fierce rivalry set the tempo and atmosphere for what was to be one of the most electric matches i've seen Singapore played till date. Not since the Malaysian Cup have i actually been to a full-house at the Kallang Stadium to cheer on the lions. Just years post Malaysia Cup, the National team failed to packed the stadium due to less than satisfactory performance. Not the mention that the 4-0 drubbing of SIngapore at the hands of Malaysia, right in our very own home, in front of a equally sell-out crowd made it worse. The nation lost faith in the team. But today was different, you could see it in the faces of the fans. WE KNEW WE COULD WIN THIS.
Malaysian detractors often say (and i've been reading Malaysian blogs and their newspapers) that the goal by Hardi Jaafar in the 54th minute during the first leg was Spectacular, sensational and "one of the best goals of the tournament". With no offence to any "Abangs" i would like to differ. From a very neutral POV, i felt that it was a rather lucky goal. In that, i believe, it was a very badly kicked cross that somehow or another, found its way into the net. I'm not here to convince you of that fact. By watching the video, you would have agreed with me too.
Anyways, back to yesterday's match. Yes the atmosphere was good and the fans definitely held nothing back to show who they were supporting and who they wanted to win. It was quite obvious.
The Kallang Wave, the Kallang Roars and the Thunder Legs all were back in full strength ala the Malaysia Cup days of yore when coming to Kallang was coming to the Gallows for any team from Malaysia. If i had a chance to relive that good old days againg, yesterday was that.
I filmed this, sitting at the corner of the stadium just prior to the kick off of the second half. I apologise for the grainy image near the end. =)
Ms. S and i finally reached the stadium at 6.15, by then it was so packed with people, we had to squeeze and slip our way in and out of families to eventually get ourselves to the entrance. The atmposphere in the stadium was nothing short of raccous. People were cheering, buying kerpoks and walking around in red. It really made me relive my younger days when i watched matches at Kallang with my dad.
*
So it was to be about and hour and a half of anxious waiting till the match started. More Kallang waves and more Kallang roars set the tempo for the crowd of fans. Then something peculiar happened, some flag tottering Malaysian fans appeared out of nowhere and immediately, those cheers morphed into collective Boos that filled the stadium almost immediately.
Well, if they always said that Singapore was like a pimple, a sea of red. Then i'm sorry my dear Abangs, today you were the Pus in that very pimple. We were gonna squeeze you out dry. Haha.
Disclaimer : the term "pus" is used in this context with relevance to us being "Pimples". It is in no way degratorty and is used entirely in jest.
*
The first half i felt, really belonged to SIngapore. We were excellent down the flanks, creative and at the same time, speedy and decisive. The defence held on well too, winning the ball almost every single time Malaysia had possession. The defence could really wrestle the ball effectively from the Malaysians. A few fluffed chances if not Singapore could have been in the lead and subsequently a few scares from the Pus camp as well. But the score at half-time was 0-0.
*
The second half was equally if not more exciting than the first. Precious let crack a fiery rocket in the dying miutes of regulation time only for it to be tipped off my the M'sian keeper - barely. If it had gone in, the game would have been sealed for Singapore. I was soundly impressed with the way Daniel Bennet, Precious, Shi Jia Yi and Muhd Ridhuan played today. The right wingers were fast and decisive, always up to the task of wrestling the ball away from the Malaysians and winning it back every time they lost the ball. Played the M;sian defence a fool a couple of time with the help of a few nifty one-to-ones with eachother and spun the Malaysian defence into confusion. But the Malaysian defence were suffice to say, up to it at times as they knew how to close in on an attacker, but that was where SIngapore thrived. When Malaysian defenders were closing in on a plyer, in this case, i would name Shi Jia Yi, he knew how to run around in circles, while still holding possession of the ball and finally put it out long and wide to the flanks for the right winger to deliver in a cross. It was spectacular. They knew how to thrill the crowds.
*
My guess is, for the pus camp, many nearly died from cathartic infarctions (that is heart attack for those who do not know) seeing thier goal constantly being attacked relentlessly by the aggresive and never-say-die combo of the defence and the right wing.
in the 54th minute however, Malaysia drew first blood via a hard shot down their right flank. The ball was caught by Lionel, but it slipped and subsequently trickled its way into the net, despite Lionel's vain attempts at pouncing on the ball. The Pimple camp went dead quiet and silence was resonating throughout the stadium. For once, the Malaysians were cheering, chanting and singing. The players lost a little focus after that and the Malaysians charged with renew vigor and spirit. However, the defence could always be counted on to hold back and fluff out any Malaysian attackers.
However, it was not to be a lead that Malaysia could hold on to. 23 minutes later, in the 73rd minute, after a series of excellent flank and center play, Malaysia's defence buckled under the pressure and Muhd. Ridhuan, appearing out of nowhere, slammed home the equaliser for Singapore after Alam Shah cushioned a cross from the flanks.
*
THE CROWD WENT CRAZY! Suddenly the crowds were cheering, dwarfing the pus camp. The pus camp stood there speechless and a series of scuffles between the pimples and the pus broke out, which eventually led to a few of the respective fans being led out of the stadium. You could say that the pus camp was literally being squeezed by the Singaporeans as they were surrounded left, right and back by us, the pimples!
The Singaporean Lions never stopped fighting till the end, even in spite of being a goal down, they never failed to dominate the match and win back balls and create chances. As i told Ms. S, Singapore's game set up was good. They had what it takes to penetrate the defence. The Malaysian team obviously looked weary having to fend of volleys after volleys of blue waves hitting them time and tiem again. But Singapore Failed to captitalise on that advantage and were sorely punished early in the second half. But the Lions were up to it and fought back gallantly to claim back the equaliser.
*
It was the same throughout the 30 minutes of extra time. Singapore setting the pace of the match and dominating every aspect of the game, lest a few let ups with gave the Pimple camp a few heart attacks. It was clearly nobody wanted the game to go into Penalties since Singapore were playing very well and it was only a matter of tiem before Singapore could score again. But it was not to be. Singapore obviously did not find their groove to finish well despite very gallant efforts to find the back of the net. Alot of wasted opportunities, but nonetheless, they held on well and kept placing pressure on the tigers who by now, ere still fighting to survive, but only barely.
However, one thing i noticed was that as the game progressed on towards penalties, the Malaysian players were falling more frequently and they were really taking their own time to do things. For example, the Malaysian keeper, kept falling when the ball was near his goal, only to get up , miraculously healed when the stretcher came on the field. Obviously, the Pimples saw that and started booing. It did not just happen once, it happened about 2 times. Even when there was a substituition int he tigers team. The substituted player took his own sweet time to walk off the field. He did not run, nor did he walk fast, he merely strolled off the field. Obviously, there were lots of booing and jeering.

PENALTIES
Penalty Kick
Singapore 5 Indra Sahdan Noh Alam Shah Mustafic Fahrudin Fazrul Nawaz Shi Jia Yi
Malaysia 4
Muhammad Hardi Jaafar Rezal Zambery Yahya Sanramsak Kram Thirumurugan Veeran Mohd Khyril Muhymeen Zambri (Saved by Lionel Lewis)
What was most interesting about the penalty kicks was that whenever a Singapore player kicked the ball, all the fans would be cheering "GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! GOAL!" but when the Malaysian player stepped up to take his shot, the cheers went immediately to jeers. Haha
Down to the last shot. The tension was high, it was reaching critical boiling point already and when the shot was saved by a outstretched Lionel Lewis, it was as if the stadium exploded! I hugged Ms. S so tight in Jubilation that i eventually carried her into the air! Hahaha. It took me awhile before i actually registered the Save. Haha. BY then, it was clear, SINGAPORE WON! They have made their way into the finals! HOORAY!!!
*
Ms. S was cheering and screaming just as i was as well, we were so happy i kept hugging her and carrying her up in the air. Hahaha. It was indeed a memorable match and it was one which i would never EVER forget in my life.
Thank you Ms. S for making this match even more wonderful for me!!! I love yOU!
How time flies, in an instant it has almost been a year since Ms. S and i first spoke over the internet. =)
What began as a normal friendly chat soon became a daily affair or an activity which i would look forward to everytime i booked out of camp. I will purposely rush home in the evening so that i can spend a few happy hours chatting away with her. =)
*
Life with her has been thoroughly engaging and interesting, in a space of 8 months, we have experienced so much together, happiness, sadness, anger, hardships, confusion, anxiety. We've been to many places together, tried many different foods together.
She has been there for me through my darkest hours, my most confused of days and my happiest moments. All shared with her and my family. =) She has integrated well with my parents and my parents seem to like her alot. =) Especially my mum Haha
=)
*
What can i say, we're simply made for eachother, we think the same, act the same, behave the same, talk the same but above all, we love the same. =)
Now now, don't be envious. We do have our usual squabbles from time to time, but thats ok. =) whats a relationship without friction at times? It juts goes to show that we care enough about eachother to want to iron out our differences or make the opposite party aware of their actions and how it affects us without them knowing. =) Whats so wrong about that?
All these may seem too mushy for you all to take. But hey, this is how we are. =) Hahaha. We love, care and support eachother fully and unconditionally. =)
*
I like the middle one the most!
Nice lighting eh?? =) I love you dear. my Ms. S
*
Oh well, what can i say, its great we got to know eachother and its great i spent a great deal of this year loving nad making her happy. =) She is the best thing that has ever happened to me this year. =) I love her so. =D
Haha, last friday, i accompanied Ms. S to watch Strawberry Shortcake Live Performance at Taka. It was quite eventful to say the least of our little adventure =) I bumped into Mr. Tan! I was SHOCKED ok! Hahaha.
*
But thats not the point!! The point is, while Ms. S and i were browsing through the Christmas Sale at Taka Atrium, something caught my eyes. Its unmistakable buzzing sound oming from the rotor. I turned and looked around to see what it was, to my utter amazement.....there it was, a mini RC Helicopter, rising above the shopping shelves and flying high up into the Taka Atrium Skies!.
It was the PICOOZ MINI-RC HELICOPTER!!!
I was stunned! I was so amazed! I was so ENTHRALLED! I was so CAPTIVATED by the helicopter that Ms. S had to DRAG me away to break away my attention from it. Hahaha.
I was so amazed by it i HAD TO BUY IT. For the price of $39, i felt it was a good deal since its not everyday you get to buy a RC Helicopter for such a price. Against her much displeasure of me wasting money on such trivilities ( i know you care dear. =) And i love you for wanting me to be thrifty with money. I love you!) i finally laid my hands on my very own Picooz.
Hahaha.
I bought the red one.
Hahaha. YAY!~!
If you wanna see how it flies, you can check out this video.
This is the original Picooz advertisment.
More vids of people flying the Picooz...
*
I'm sorry but as i told my dearest Ms. S, when it comes to flying toys, guys are always enthralled Hahaha. =)
Apart from the fact that it can actually fly, what really makes it cool is that when you switch it on, it has a blue LED strobbing light, much like a real helicopter has. =) Oh and it is also rechargable thru a cable fitted ont he transmitter. How cool is that?
=D
You guys out there who wish to fly but can never get a chance too, i totally reccommend you the Picooz! It is fun! =D You won't be disappointed!
*
I'm off on a mission! See you guys later when i land!~!~ Hahaha
PICOOOZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz
I know i sound like a small kid, but it really birngs out the Kid in me~!~
Oh what a delightfully fun day today! We made pancakes! Dear and i made deliciously home-cooked pancakes! Drizzled upon with a godlen stream of Maple flavoured syrup!! It was pure heavenly goodness enjoying a great episode of The Simpsons on my computer while gobling down slabs after slabs of eithe rplain or mixed berries pancakes! =)
*
It was such a healthy, fun activity together that i just had to capture it all on my camera phone, albeit a little blurry and lousy, but nevermind! The memories are captured right here *points to heart* =D
*
It all starts with placing the batter on the pan!!
The pancake cooking happily on the pan. =)
Our pancakes!! On the left is the mixed berries flavour while on the right is the plain buttermilk ones. =)
Enjoying the pancakes with maple flavoured syrup, some hershey's chocolate and of course, Simpsons!!
His and hers. =D Lovingly made by hand. =)
*
The pancakes came out tasting absolutely delicious especially with the maple syrup. But what really made it taste good was that we did the pancakes together, it was filled with love. (i know, people are cringing now..but hey, give a man in love a chance will ya?) Haha. As i was saying, those pancakes were made with love, they were pancakes of love! Hahaha. They tasted really great tough. Espcially when drizzled upon with the maple syrup. The chocolate syrup did not come out tasting as good as we thought it would have, but nonetheless, it was still fantastic. =)
It was a fun day and i had tremendous fun with her. =) I really wish for more days like these. Simple, meaningful and healthy activities together. =) Dear, i love you and you are precious. I promise to make pancakes for you every sunday next time ok? I love you. =D
Well, i'm finally back, after nearly a month's haitus from blogging.
So many things have happened in my life that just one post will not do justice to these significant events.
Well, suffice to say, from the frequnecies of my posts, i hav somewhat lost that drive to blog so frequently like how i used to. Haha, but maybe as time goes by, i might pick up my habit of blogging again and continue revealing little nuggets of my life that more often that not, is incoherent, ranty and totally juvenile. Haha, but as i once said, being able to read your archives a few years down the road will actually make you realsie how much different (or otherwise) you are now as opposed to then.
*
It is almost gonna be 4 mths from the day i made my promise to S, and truth be said, life hasn't been better for the both of us. Caring and understanding one and other is what this special union has and will be all about. I can be myself around her without any worry of any negative backdraft, whihc allows me to feel at total complete ease in her presence. She is like my refuge from the tempestuous tribulations of reality, from which i seek solace, comfort and draw confidence from. Right now she is down with Gastroentritis, which in lay man's term is gastric flu.
It really pains me whenever i see her wrinching in pain. I really hope that i can just banish the pain away from her with a simple stroke of the finger. She is precious to me and seeing her in such a state only shrouds me in pain and an utter feeling of uselessness. Haha.
*
Actually, i have nothiing much to blog about. 1 Guards has gone ful swing into NDP and i have completed a majority of my last fe outfields before i lose my job (aka ORD).
Really, the thought of ORD kinda makes me a little sad. Its like i'm gonna be retrenched from my job that i've been so busily immersing myself to for the past 2 years. Suffice to say, i am anti-trend by making such "crazy" statments, who wouldn't want to ORD right? But honestly, i know i will miss the Army when i receive my pink IC and i Know for SURE that i will feel a certain tinge of sadness when i finally step out of Bedok Camp as a civilian, no longer a Army Personnel. All the memories, all the friends, all the hardships, all boil down towards receivign my Pink IC as a testament to all that my comrades and i have been through.
But definitely, all these thought will coem to nought if i choose to sign on the army. A crazy thought i know, but nto totally inconceivable.
Oh well, its getting late and i still gotta go down chinatown tmr for Ticketing collection. Hahaha
Its been a while since i've last blogged. Haha, nothing much has happened. AIT Phase 2 has begun which will prep my men up for Platoon Training. =)
*
Having her in my life now is just so...wonderful. She gives me an additonal pillar of support, an extra cushion to break my falls. She is always there for me, to listen to my rants and unhappiness while quelling my fire. She understands me, understand what i want and provides me with the love, care and affection that i've been wanting to find. Why didn't i meet her earlier, why didn't i get to know her earlier, lest i save myself from all the previous heartache.
She truly is a god-sent and every moment that i spend with her just feels so right. Even when we're doing nothing, having her by my side will suffice. I do not need gifts as evidence for my love or her love for me, all i need is her word, as my trust towards her is as sure as the constant air that we breathe and as binding as the sun's promise to rise and set every single day.
I care for her, i cherish her and aboveall, i love her, so very much.
*
Indeed, after the tempest comes the rainbow, i'm glad some how, that we parted, though it was painful and not the best of ways to do so, you gave me the opportunity to meet someone better, someone who appreciates me more and someone whom i can put full trust and love into.
Perhaps, thank you is the word, for being cruel and heartless that time, but for now, i'm glad and thankful, thankful to you for paving the way, so that i can now walk down this road with her, confident, aware and above all, more mature than i was last time.
*
Nay-sayers won't understand the depth of emotions that has intertwined the both of us in the short space of a few months. I'm surprised myself, that she and i had that immediate connection of familiarity. It seemed that from the on-start, we knew how or what eachother was thinking. Itr is often easy to rationalise that is is such because we're still in the so-called "Honeymoon Period" but i told her and i state that to me, my love for her is not bounded by time, it is not proportional, neither is it pegged to it. I do not love her more just because we've been together for many years, neither will i love her any less just because we've been together for a short period of time. My philosophy is just to make the best out of every moment we're together regardless of time.
=)
Oh well, as what flea said, it was well worth the wait i guess. =) And i'm glad i left my options open.
Bliss, serenity, love, enjoyment and tranquility. Some words to describe my day yesterday. The weather was nothing less than perfect as the both of us tumbled around inside the tent, enjoying the view and the breeze. Haha
What more is there to say than that i'm madly in love with her. Shes just the right kind and amount of sweet. Shes everything i'm looking ofr. haha serious!
I hope more of such relaxing and wonderful days lie ahead of us.
Love you very much. =)
And being the sweet person that she is, she made this for me. =)
*
It is my blessing to be able to love her. =) Truly..
You know it within you, that deep sense of connection, that sense of longing for someone, the acute familiarity of the person with you. When words need not be said to express how you feel, you just know and feel it within you.
It is only at this time, that you realise, that you have found the one
I truly believe that she is the one for me. We click almost like two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, snuggly and tightly.
We share common interests, have the same ideals, same likes and dislikes, same outlook on life and almost the same principles.
But above all, we share one thing in common. Love and affection.
*
We need no material proofs to validate the love between us, all we need is honesty, truth and understanding.
I love her for who she is, i truly do and i know i will in time to come. She is almost perfect in my eyes.
*
Anyway, my War-Cry group for 1 GDS Battalion Games day wont he first proze, will upload the pics when i get it. =D
Schedule has been hectic of late with 3 weekend COS duty in a row. Phew.
Its been a week. A week of happiness for me. Never in such a long time time have i felt so happy. Its been truly fantastic. Truly.
I feel so lucky and feel so blessed.
*
Watched "The hills have eyes" with the special someone yesterday. It was an alright film, but the general consensus was that it felt kinda like Wolf Creek 2. Haha, same setting, same situations, with the same craters as the main focal point of the film. Haha. You get the typical happy-family-on-vacation-car-gets-screwed-up, family-gets-lost-in-the-jungle, people-dies-mysteriously-only-to-realise-the-killers-are-some-sick-perverted-humans scenarios. Gore wise, it was aplenty, but not as direct or as brutal as that found in "Dawn of the Dead"
The pace of the movie went quite well, with the occasional climaxes and tapers. Plot and storyline wise, it can get alittle dumb at times, but it does pull through rather satisfatory. All in, "The Hills have eyes" is a rather watchable movie (much much better than wolf creek) if you do not have the option to watch other movies (special someone and i wanted to watch another movie but the seats were too close to the screen). I did enjoy myself during the films with some scenes being rather amusing when for example, the predator becomes the prey when the human family's dog starts going out and hunt down the mutants, chewing their hands off. hahah.
I give it ***/*****!!!
*
Played with her sister as well after the movie. For a primary 3 kid, shes just too hyper lah. EXTREMELY hyper. I tried my best to entertain her till i myself got so tired and exhausted. Haha, yet she was still yakking and running around, drawing pictures of me (which by the way was rather interesting cause she drew stumps in place of legs for me....) Haha. Yeap, then went home, wrapping up a very tiring but well worth week for me. =)
*
Some random pics of the day i picked out from my comp:
WOW, today just blew me away. Simply magical. Going out with S, is just WOW. Absolutely wow. =)
I had so much fun today, making her laugh, walking around town with her. Its just so magical. Haha, and today i met alot of people i know as well! Vincent and his Gf outside Cine. My JC bio teacher Mr. CHIN!!! in and around Cine with a GUY~!~! *raises eyebrows* haha, Jean and one of the privates from Rawdy, Pte. Juraimy.
Its so interesting. S and i were speculating if Mr. Chin was watching a movie with a guy, and if he is, then why a GUY?? Haha, oh man, dun tell me Mr. Chin is uh humm....."Happy"? Haha, i guess S and i will never know. But yea, he did seem kinda sneaky though. Hahaha. =D
*
S and i watched Date Movie, a purely slapstick movie which makes fun of many other movies like My. Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Wedding Planner, Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers (which in this case is Meet the Fockeryerdoder), Hitch, Kill Bill, Mr. and Mrs. Smith Even the PARIS HILTON Carl's Jr ad was spoofed! Haha. Everything in the movie is so literal, everything that everyone does is all taken out of a literal context. Haha. The movie sure was good, funny and absolutely entertaining. Having S by my side made it even more enjoyable for me. =D Gosh! I'm such a happy guy! Hahaha. S is the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. I really really enjoy her company alot. =D
I give the movie **** / ***** ! Serious! It is good!
Oh in addition, SCARY MOVIE 4 seems good as well...haaha They spoofed nearly every single blockbuster there is right now! From "War of the Worlds" to "King Kong"! They even spoofed Tom Cruise's mad declaration of love for Katie Holmes on Operah Winfrey! It is definitely a movie to catch! Haha and i've already chopp-ed S to watch with me. so yea! The date has been set! Can't wait! Hahaha
*
After the movie, we walked around town for a while then decided to go Changi Airport to just chill. =) Knew something else about her today, she likes sitting in planes and listening to the Pilot speaking over the intercom as well. =) Hahaha, really hope to be able to go travelling with her one day. It will be fun! Haha. =D
Had my dinner there, sent her home, walked around her place for awhile then sent her to her doorstep. Thus wrapping up an unforgetable evening. =) S is really a wonderful girl, unpretentious, sincere, caring but above all, she is very tender and warm AND i'm able to be the mad me with her around. I can just be my all natural self, no pretense, no fakes, just purely me. =) Gosh, i'm just so lucky to be able to get to know her. *Jumps around the couch ala Tom Cruise in Operah Winfrey's Show* Hahaha. Seriously, and S if you are reading this, thank you for giving me the chance to spend some of the best moments of this year thus far with you! Really enjoyed every moment of it =D =D
*
My two most favourite flavours!
Upon reaching the realms of Yishun, i set forth on a mission, I was on a quest, on a quest to find my...........B&J ice-cream. After walking to 3 different 7-11 outlets in and around my area, i was almost awashed in futility when upon my eyes fell the inviting yellow glow of a shell station. Led by my caloric instincts, i made my way there only to find my much needed NIRVANA. YES! THEY HAD A WHOLE FRIDGE FULL OF B&Js!!!!! I was like OMG!!! I was ecstatic that i immediately msged S and told her about it. Haha, i bought Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and a Cherry Garcia (My favourite flavour thus far) Ice-cream bar. Wootsies!
So far Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is what S describe it to be Heaven! Haha it sure is! Yum yum yummy yum!
I lurve it!! Hahaha =D *Spoons a huge lump into his mouth* DELICIOUS! Haha
I'm mad, gone totally through the roof. I'm high on Ice-cream. Hahaha. =D
Absolutely Choco-heavenly!

Well, that kinda wraps up an absolutely unforgettable day. =) Ciao!!
Had a wonderfully relaxng time yesterday. Met S at 2 to watch Wolf Creek. Hahaha, in the end PS was so crowded that we decided to change venue to Marina Square, which was much less crowded. The only draw back was that the movie only started at 1730.
Which meant that we had nearly 3 hours of time to burn! Hahaha, walked around Esplanade, then went to Suntec to visit S's friend. Heh. The SAF was holding an exhibition there. The Navy, Air Force, and Army each had thier own booths set up to recruit ignorant youths of Singapore wow-ed by the equipment on displayed (Which honestly, till now i've not gotten to see OR use in my daily life as a NSF in 1 Gds.)
A funny thing happened though, this 3SG approached me and asked "Interested to Join the Army?" to which i swiftly answered "I AM in the army." Hahaha
Immedikatley, his face changed. HAHAHa.

Yea, so i finally saw how Ben & Jerrys looks like (the outlet at Suntec). Walked back to Marina just in time to catch the Movie "WOLF CREEK"
More about the movie.
Wolf Creek sure lives up to its title of being "The Scariest movie of the Year" "Edge of your seat thriller!"
Yea right, Scariest movie for being so BORING. Edge of the seat thriller, why? because i got so BORED that i literaaly slid down my seat on to the cinema floor.
It was bad. REAL bad. Unimaginative, slow, dumb at some times and utterly a complete total waste of money.
The show is about 1Hr 40 mins of which the first hour was totally irrelevant to the final outcome of the movie. It felt like at some points of the show, the dialogue was forced out of a desire to waste time rather than promote the final objective of the movie. The first hour shows the 3 anatognists fraternizing, teasing eachother about who-likes-who, driving to places, getting roughed up by some baddies, buying a car, going to the beach, making their way to Wolf Creek, Drinking booze, sleeping, more driving, big open spaces. Bah.
It was only after the first hour of totally irrelevant b***s*** that the pace finally picked up, which turned out rather -_-"
Many a times throughout the movie, you can hear people sighing, (inclusive of myself and S). It was just so boring, it became utterly scary. Scary that such a lame and weak movie can be nominated for the Sundance Movie Festival, scary that such weak horror can be deemed by more established directors to be "Edge of the Seat Thriller".
I don't understand, don't understand it at all.
To give credit would be the acting. Sure, the actresses really screamed out thier lungs, you can almost feel the pain as the knife plunges through the lead actresses's spinal column, the wrinching pain as the blade slowly severes the nerves and spine, rendering the actress immobile and in a constant state of shock, known to the lead murderer as "Head on a Stick". HAH. I guess the only good thing about the movie is that it is 1Hr 40 mins, and not more than that, because if it is anything more than that, i will deem it cinema-genocide.
As S and i left the theater, a couple sitting behind us summed up the movie for me
Guy : "What a stupid show" Girl : " Yea, totally."
Haha.
I give it **/*****. You will be better off watching Final Destination or Big Momma's House instead. hahaha.

Ok, so after the mutually-agreed-disappointingly-bad movie, S and i took a walk towards Esplanade. Walked, sat down and talked. Never had such a good talk for such a long time already. Enjoyed it through and through.
=D
Sent her home which wrapped up an unforgettable day for me. Really hope to meet S more in the future. Hahaha.
Yay.
