A casual talk about insurance with my brother led me to these insurance ads from Thailand that my brother recommended to me. =) It is really seriously worth watching.
I urge you all to watch it.
This ad tells the story of a father who at the time of hsi death, wished for something that we could never ever get back - time. Its rather impactful in that it clearly demonstrates the fragility of life and how one can unexpectedly lose a loved one, that fate, even if it had made a turn for the better, is uncompromising.
The next one is a certified weeper. Get your tissue papers ready!
This ad here tells the story of a man who made a promise to his wife who passed away 30 years ago. I will not further elaborate by just say this - the straining screeches of the erhu nearing the end will tug at your tear ducts.
some facts my brother enlightened me 10 miles = 16km. go figure. Every single day.

Will not choose so much as to comment on the SIN - THAI match as in my opinion. The entire integrity and dignity of the game was compromised. It was a weak victory built upon poor sportsmanship. But i have to emphasise that Singapore DID play well But the Thais for some reason or another, were lacking.
Physical, brutal match, but nonetheless, the Coup de'grace of the match being one of the most shambolic and farcical one in ASEAN football history (apart from the 1998 incident in which Indo purposely scored an own goal to avoid meeting Vietnam in the Semis.) was the boycotting of the match orchestrated by the Thai coach. last i heard. He is facing a 2year football ban and instrumental players involved in that boycott are being slapped with 2-6 months play suspension.
What a way to kill the spirit fo the game. Myanmar in the 2002 Tiger cup was equally put to task for killing the spirit of the game. But of all teams. Why Thailand. Politics aside. It sets the ground for a red-hot clash in Bangkok on Sunday. =)
MAY THE BEST TEAM WIN! =D

I was also telling Ms. S that for the past two matches we've been watching together, i guess for both occasions we got our money's worth.
To put into perspective.
Semi Finals 2nd Leg 270107 :
Ticket price : $6
What we got to witness :
An exciting match steeped in traditional rivalry, exploding right before our very eyes. Topped off with an equally exciting Penalty in which Spore won.
Finals 1st Leg 310107 :
Ticket price : $7
What we got to witness :
HISTORY in the making. A total team Boycott of the match by the Thais for 15 mins in the 87th minute. Not to mention many high and mighty tackles befitting of an Ong Bak movie. =D Oh yah, and bad, distasteful refereeing too. =) M'sia boleh? Hmm....
