You know, one thing about blogging is that there must be consistency, once you break the flow and stop blogging for a period of time...you simply....stop. Like me...
HAHAHA
I know nobody reads this but i was just reading my archives and realise how much information it contains, or events that were once significant to me and how much of those events i ahve forgotten. It has also made me realsie how fast time has flwon by. In Dec, i was blogging about receiving my men for BMT and all that, now in OCT, i'm gonna blog about leaving my men as i'm about to ORD.
Blogging actually quantifies and puts into perspective how much an individual has grown or matured over time. Reading back at my JC posts, i just feel like going back to that period of time and give myself a tight slap across the face....
But when i read back on the turmoils and personal-imposed hardships when i was in SISPEC to make real of my struggles, etc to prove my worth, i will really want to sit down with me and placing my arms around myself, reassure myself that everything will be fine, that i will eventually do well and ORD with my head held up high.
I feel that i've done justice to my earlier struggles in the Army. To leave now will actualy be akin to leaving at my prime. I'm leaving the organisation, highly respected and remembered by all i've worked with, either as a superior or a subordinate.
I'm not bull-crapping, i'm stating facts, i've read testimonials about myself and to have people say that the respect you and will remember you as a Commander, i'm deeply touched and appreciative that i'm able to make an impact in the lives of these people, especially my men.
Its sad to leave, but....when my time is up, i have to leave. The men need to learn how to be independent. I'm sad to leave my men in the hands of another, but its all part of renewed continuation that is essential in this Organisation. Transformation, it is crucial for the survival of this organisation that i love and at the same time, dislike (at some points only, otherwise, i pretty much love the army).
