Another bag full of salt to rub into my wounds.

Just as i was smarting from the shock.

My platoon Sergeant said i didn't make it to OCS was cause

i didn't complete my BMT in time.

Thats cos i missed my live range (cause of sickness) and could only complete

it after POP (whihc as a matter of fact, with a Marksman title).

So by implication, i had every opportunity to enter OCS.

BUT, the Bureaucracy that runs in the blood of SAF prevented me from

doing so, cause since my scores cannot be submitted earlier,

by sheer circumstances, my spot was taken over by someone else.

Now, that isn't my fault is it?

Well, Shit happens.

Thats life, so i gotta deal with it.

Life moves on....the sun still rises, the heart still beats and the blood

still flows, so whats there to stop me from achieving my best in

SISPEC?

Hey, if i can get so close to clinching Platoon Best in

BMT (and thats because of my abilities, fitness killed me), nothing is

gonna stop me from that coveted

Golden Bayonet in SISPEC.

I was asking my Platoon Sergeant, 2Sgt. Suhaimi about the

chances of a cross-over from SISPEC to OCS.

and my Platoon Sergeant replied to my message as such.

Plt. Sgt. : "Well it depends, if you still have the 'fire' to still wanna

crossover. They will look upon your battle, knowledge, leadership,

your ability to push your fellow mates during tough times. And fitness.

Which i feel you have most of it already. Just do your best."
