Ok, this past 2 weeks have been a very tough yet enjoyable 2 weeks for me,

in this 2 weeks, i have learnt much more about myself than i have

over the past few years,

i maged to push my physical limits and carry on despite

my physical boundaries, i ran with all my life, cried tears of pain,

and endured countless barrage of words from my Sergeants. But it is only the

beginning, somehow, i know it will only get tougher from now on,

for example, next monday, we'll be doing strength trainning in

full SBO plus rifle. SHIONG!

Just ST w/o SBO is tough enough, but with SBO and Rifle, its gonna be

alot more worse.

Here is a rough recap of my 2 weeks thus far.

*

Day 1 : Woke up early int he morning to prepare my transition,

packed my bags, ironed my clothes and stared hard at myself in the mirror,

applied hair gel for the last time as a civilian and

left the house with a tinge of regret. Took the fast craft from SAFFT

and arrived at Tekong just on time, whereby we were further seperated into our

companies. I got posted to Scorpion Coy, one of the best companies in

the whole of BMTC, so i was kinda happy.

Then the whoel lot of us adjourned to the Auditorium to take our

Oath of Allegiance, something which i had been waiting to do for a

very long time. =P

Had dinner with my family at the Cookhouse before my parents and brother left.

My section bunk mats are not bad lah, all very crappy and funny. haha.

Cut hair and starred at myself int he mirror.

GOD, i LOOKED LIKE A FRIGGIN MONKEY.

*

Day 2 : Filled up more forms, kinda slack day actually...nothing much happened.

Day 4: Issued with my arms and had the whoel Arms presentation ceremony done at ngiht

in front of the monument, beautiful sunset i must add.

Tekong has nice sceneries, especially during sunrise and sunset.

day 5 - 12 : Basically right after that, everyday felt roughly the same,

lots of running int he morning, lots of exercise, lots of pumping,

but its all worthwhile.

Day 12 : book out day, was so happy but we had very little time to pack our

things so int he end, the entire section just dumped all our clothes

into our field pack w/o much folding. Lol, the moment we reached mainland,

it felt liek heaven. Haha, Tekong air smells decidedly different from Singapore Air.

REALLY!

*

Booking in on Sunday ngiht, thereafter another 2 weeks of confinement,

cause of FIELD CAMP! From next Sat till the following Friday,

we'll be int he deepest jungles of Pulau Tekong, roughing it out.

Its gonna be fun but tiring also, that ic an be sure

*

Oh well, nothing much to blog about lah, just cannot wait for Field Camp and IMT.

Hehehe.

Kulua Baris!
