Hmm, with Christmas day now passed,
its time to look forward to the year 2005.
This year has been a tremendously tumultuous one for me,
with problem hitting me left, right, center,
i'm just glad that it is all gonna end....soon.

Next year will herald many new changes to my life, for one, i'll be stepping into
a whole new, unknown phase of my life.
I'll be finally closing this chapter of my life
and begin penning a whole new chapter.
I will meet new friends, new people,
have new experiences, new friendships made, new possibilities
to shine and grow.
*
Though it will be hard for me, but i will push my unhappiness
this year aside and look forward with courage, strength and maturity.
*
National Service enlistment on the 8th of Jan,
i wonder how will it be like, having waited nearly 6 years of my life.
To finally be able to serve my country,
will i excel? Will i falter? Will i succeed in a brute,
tough world that is Army?
Well, it is no doubt that i must for i forsee myself signing on
in the Armed Forces,
either way, whether i do succeed or fail, one thing is for sure and certain,
i will certainly give it my bestest shot with vigour and courage
to pit myself against the challenges thrown towards me.
I will grit my teeth, pull up my laces and brave the tempest,
i will excel, i will succeed and i will overcome
regardless of the circumstances.
I will survive

On a lighter note, i had my first taste of Vodka today.
Went over to a Christmas party held by a family fiend and i got so tipsy
on Vodka that even till now, i still feel the
hangover effects of the liquer.
This family friend owns a Peranakan restaurant, so certainly there was Nonya
food galore. The curries were devilish but tasty while the fried chicken
was superb! The best i've had since uh, i can remember?

Either way, his house was tasfully done up, with subtle Balinese
decor, it was simply a joy to lounge around at the balcony, admiring the
night Christmas Sky.
Sipping Vodka Lemon, you cannot help but think of how this year has
been to you.
For many, this year has been largely indifferent, largely the same as most
years
For others, it has been good, but for some out there,
this year has been a constant wheel of changes, a constant turmoil
of sorts.

But thank God, Family and out friends, that we have all
survived yet another year and live to tell how we did.
