Which is better? Physics or Bio

Woohoo! Desmond and Halim are coming over today to play the computer. Heh.....this is the first time in my life my comp is in demand man. Halim and Des are having thier physics paper today. Just over a few weeks ago. Halim and myself were deadlocked in a verbal sparring match as to which science is better Biology or physics. i still think physics sucks...Bio rocks Yeap, we sparred for an hour plus, it was a heated match witnessed by many in the council room that very day, petrified of the extent of abuse we were hurling at eachother in a vituperative manner, they left the room hurriedly to scour the canteen for mercy and a reprieve. The match soon had reached its climatic point, its pinnacle, its apex but Halim diverged from his original course of intent to speak of how we can travel in time using something that looks like a uterus. While i bolstered his knowledge and added mine in graciously as to why halim cannot produce babies if he copulates with an elephant. Hah.

Halim and I are the paragon of science fanaticsm. We guard and are defensive of the sciences we take in relevance to our lives. Halim, lets spar sometime again...this time we do it in Chinese. its gonna be a laugh for all who witness it. it will be like two English men struggling to speak in chinese, only to end up fustrated and tongue-tied. Bah. :P q: But soon, i think we reached an amistice, we both agreed that Chemistry is the most important science, without which, both physics and Bio will not be possible. Or maybe thats because we both take it as one of our combi. Hah, how capricious we can be.

I'm listening to Jay Chou's Ba dao kong jian and enjoying every single morsel my ear is uptaking. Woots! Somehow, the music is making me think back at my first 3 months in SAJC, because that was the only CD i listened to while i was amidst the cynical and false-pretense-riddled people.

Schoolism - the bane of my existence

CJC is definitely better, at least the students are down-to-earth and not up there in the clouds, like those people at AC and SA. Cjc students are also not so quick to judge others and join clicks which is impossible to join unless you are Handsome, pretty, atheletic, sporty and from a good school (like ACSi, SJI, RI or Chinese High) none of which i am. Hah This prettty makes one's life at SA seem rather lonely and miserable right? Yes, it was....at least for me, not so for few hundred other CHS, RI, SJI, VS, SCGS, RGS, NYGHS, ACSi, CGS, CDGS, BPGHS, NHSS, FMSS, SNGS people i guess. Since most of them were associated with the ubiquitous and pisses-me-off clicks. They don't look at your character first, they judge you by the colour of your uniform, the name of your school, whether is it a popular school, neighbourhood school discrimination hails , private school, government school or independent school. much like how racism works, maybe we can call it schoolism. Even if you do well in your class tests or tutorials, they just shrug it off and say you're lucky. Lucky? Hahaha....what a joke. But for every bad side, there is a good side. I did have good friends, but they weren't from any of the schools named above.

They were from Commonwealth Like their name....Common-wealth for all Heh. Even though they are known to be a good school (even for the students they produce), they didn't put on airs, neither were they "click-ky". They were humble, friendly and good guys to be with Hong Rui and Johnny, thanks alot for making my life at SA bearable. They never gossiped or spoke bad of others, in other words, they weren't cynical. Few lasting friendships were forged, while others were merely confined to within the barriers of that 3 months. But hell, i'll be in CJ for the next 14 months and i'm loving every single moment of it people here respect me for who i am and what i am, obviously, schoolism doesn't take place at all, or at least i don't see it happening. Uniforms don't matter here. I love CJC, In Veritate Et Caritate! except maybe for our baby blue uniform, it irks people away. sorry to those who are staunch proponents of SA, this is just how i feel, well, if you were in my shoes, i believe you will say the same too. Especially if you hail from a neighbourhood school which others like to make puny, squish down and make irrelevant, but are proud of yourself intrinsicly. Once a saint always a Saint you proclaim? More like Once a Saint, never a Sant again

To Friends in CJC, like Ping Cheun, Clara, Aishah, Hong Gey, Mario, Ying Jie, Denyse, Sara, Ann, Chi Sheng, Hui Shan, Khusbir, Adeline, Ru Ying, Larraine and all my other Councilites, a BIG THANK YOU for making life in CJ bearable and fun.
